Tapping into Air Jordan excellence

The original Air Jordan was released by Nike in 1985 to massive appeal, with a new sought-after Air Jordan sneaker launched each subsequent year. The tradition of re-releasing vintage Air Jordans began in 1994, and those too were clamored over. Amidst such enormous fandom, the Jordan Flight line was born. The Jordan True Flight and Jordan Flight Club ’91 are two of the Flight collection’s most popular editions. The True Flight was inspired by the Air Jordan VII and debuted in 2009. Sharing many of the same aesthetic features as its predecessor, the True Flight is highlighted by materials and innovations that keep it at the top of the class for today’s hooper.

Meanwhile, the Jordan Flight Club ’91 drew inspiration from the Air Jordan VI, the sneaker MJ wore en route to his first championship. The Flight Club debuted in 2013, has since seen a variety of vivid colorways, and features a translucent “frosty” rubber outsole.
