Making Style Routine
PUMA set the stage early on as a pioneer in performance athletics. Rudolf and Adolf Dassler founded the Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory in Germany in 1924 which would go on to become adidas. Parting ways in 1948, Rudolf took his brand knowledge in a new direction: soccer. Within the year, Rudolf had conceived a proprietary shoe made just for the sport featuring screw-in studs, something altogether new and groundbreaking for the industry as a whole. The Atom, as the shoe was named, is now in its 65th year, and remains a time-honored tradition in the world of soccer today. But PUMA would go on to do so much more. The PUMA RS-X, a performance shoe rooted in style, is just one prime example.
